Mary Louise Booher, 90, of Hillsboro died at 3:02 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab Center in Taylor Springs.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow at noon with the Rev. Mike Lawton, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Booher was born in Hillsboro on Dec. 14, 1925, the daughter of Chalmer and Rosa Mae (Turner) Hill. She married Earl Booher in Chicago on March 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1994.

She lived in the Hillsboro area most of her lifetime, graduated from Hillsboro High School. She had worked at Security Savings Bank in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Booher was a member of the Hillsboro Country Club, where she was an avid golfer, as well as Red Hatters group, Royal Neighbors and the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spent several winters in Florida. She also loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, David (wife Carol) Booher of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Brandon (wife Leigh) Booher of Arlington, TN, Jacob (wife Cristy) Booher of San Diego, CA, Kale (wife Kate) Booher of Webster Groves, MO, and Kristin Booher of Davidson, NC; great-grandchildren, Dayton Booher, Easton Booher, Paxton Booher, Jillian Booher and Deacon Booher; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Booher of Bloomington.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Booher was preceded in death by a son, John Booher on Dec. 3, 2014; and sister, June Dagon.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Trustee Projects.
