Robin Lynn (Hancock) Boyd, 57, of Waynesboro, TN, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Old Union Church in Waynesboro, TN, with Harold Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Steele Cemetery near Clifton, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boyd was born on Sept. 17, 1956, in Litchfield, the daughter of the late Ross Eugene and Valeria Lanell (Plunkett) Hancock. She married Jessie Boyd on May 5, 1988, and he survives.
She was a corrections officer at Corrections Corporation of America and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Floyd (wife Gloria) Lang of Clifton, TN; six grandchildren, Angelo Deltedesco Jr., Chrissie Teague, Jessica Deltedesco, Michael Lang, Gabriel Lang, and Dylan Lang; three great-grandchildren, Angelo Deltedesco III, Gavin Teague, and Connor Teague; three brothers, Ronald Hancock of Coffeen; Russell Hancock of Peoria; and Ross Dean Hancock of Coffeen; two sisters, Susan Friesland of Taylor Springs and Ronita Rufus of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Hancock Sr. in 2007 and Ray Hancock in 2010.
