Stan D. Carrell, 56, of Ramsey died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at his home in Ramsey.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Ramsey Christian Church in Ramsey with his sons, Tyler and Spenser Carrell, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carrell was born on Nov. 1, 1960, in Decatur, the son of Gordon L. and Donna Faith (Depew) Carrell. He married Jeri Lyn McFarland on Dec. 16, 1985, in Ramsey, and she survives in Ramsey.
He was the owner and operator of Carrell's Trucking and drove for United Van Lines in Kirkwood, MO. He was a member of Ramsey Christian Church in Ramsey.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Carrell is survived by his mother, Donna Faith (Depew) Carrell of Ramsey; two sons, Tyler Carrell and Rachel of Mazon and Spenser Carrell (Chrissy) of Paris, IL; brother, David Carrell (Lisa) of Nokomis; sisters, Debra Horn of Nokomis and Ginger Wehrle (Andy) of Vandalia; and grandchildren, Parker Carrell and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon L. Carrell, and brother, Carl Carrell.
