William P. Wilhelm, 73, of Witt, died on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at Memorial Hospice at Heritage in Springfield.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Wilhelm was born Oct. 30, 1944, in Hillsboro, to William J. and Mildred (Golden) Wilhelm.
He was employed as a mechanic at ASARCO upon retirement.
Mr. Wilhelm is survived by a daughter, Sandy Schaefer of New Haven, MO; stepchildren, Brian Williamson of Witt and Angela O'Mahony of Austin, TX; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Ann Weber of Witt; and a brother, Mark (Sherry) Wilhelm of Irving.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
