Kathryn L (Codemo) Jones, 97, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024.
Mrs. Jones was born in Hillsboro on Aug. 15, 1926, to Louise (Fournier) and Frank Codemo. She married Robert D. Jones in December 1945, and they later divorced.
Mrs. Jones loved music and if music was playing one could find her tapping her feet, clapping her hands and singing along. She was an amazing cook and baker and one of her greatest joys was giving people meals and baked goods.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her sister, Rosella (Skeet); daughter, Jane; brother-in-law Bill (Sue); grandsons Terry (Seena), Steven (Heike) and Matt; granddaughter Kim; great-granddaughters Paige and Nyla; great-grandson Timothy; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Robert; son, Terry; parents, Louise and Frank; sister, Francis; brother, Bob (Nancy); son-in-law, Steven; granddogs Cooper, Boogie, Bouncer, Bo and Cassie; and other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26. The service will be held at Heather Gardens Rec Center in the Auditorium, located at 2888 S. Heather Gardens Way in Aurora, Colorado.
