Robert Pratt, 69, of Palmyra, died early on April 2, 2024 at his residence.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at Grace Baptist Church in Palmyra. Private burial will be at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra.
Mr. Pratt was born Oct. 9, 1954 in Springfield, the son of Leonard C. and Elaine Allen Pratt. He married Lois Rutherford on Feb. 25, 2024 and she survives.
Mr. Pratt was a graduate of Lincolnwood High School in Raymond. He then became employed by Capital Records in Jacksonville and later Springfield Plastics in Auburn and Anderson-Clayton in Jacksonville. His recent employment was with Tripp Landscaping in Springfield. He did yard maintenance on his own for many years. He loved to mow, garden and listen to music.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Pratt is survived by his children, Joshua Pratt (Sara) and Kaleb Pratt, all of Dennison, TX., Damian Lee Pratt and Nicholas Ryan Pratt, all of Palmyra; grandchildren, Adrian, Michael and Cory; mother, Elaine Pratt of Modesto; siblings, Daniel Pratt (Peggy) of Yellville, AR and Patricia Pratt Brockmeyer of Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital and sent to Stults-Neece Chapel, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, IL. 62692.
