Jackie L. Jarvis, 58, of Taylor Springs, died on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 12:09 p.m. at his residence.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jarvis was born on Oct. 28, 1959, in Hillsboro, to Jackie Jarvis, Sr. and Bettie (Erwin) Oakley.
He worked as a welder and millwright in the Reno, AR, area.
Mr. Jarvis is survived by his mother; a sister, Bonnie Jane (Larry) Halleman of St. Elmo; a brother, Jerry Jarvis of Hillsboro; two stepbrothers, James (Renee) Oakley, Jr. of Tennessee and Michael (Eileen) Oakley of Hillsboro; and a stepsister, Julie Mayberry of Schram City.
He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, James Oakley; stepbrother, Thomas Oakley; and one stepsister, Judy Oakley.
